Airtites or not...

I've been mainly a 90% guy until the last few months. I decided to accumulate some SAE's. Now I have a dilemna. I took advantage of those intro orders from Littleton in a BIG way. I now have a lot of SAE's in the Littleton "Show Pak's"
I have a bunch of airtites here and was wondering if you would recommend the airtites over the showpaks? What do you think?

Re: Airtites or not...

I only use airtites for gold coins, the SAE's and 90% I put in the plastic capped rolls.
If I buy something that's in a little case or whatever, I just bust it open and store as above.
It makes stacking/organizing easier for me.

I actually was also thinking about airtites earlier today - but for fractional gold.

Do airtites for 1/10 GAEs also work with 1/10 krugs and 1/10 philharmonics? Or does each type of coin need its own specific type of airtite?

Yes, as they are the same mm in diameter.

If you ever give silver to friends and family as gifts, SAE's in the showpacks are ideal. I like that they give a little history and information on the coin as well as a little bit of protection. Otherwise, ask your local dealer or look around online for empty SAE tubes. Since you already have the airtites knock yourself out, but nice, neat rolls store much better! :s9:

Saoirse, here's a really handy webpage to bookmark for the different bullion coins weights and dimensions:
